What Kind of Information Do We Collect?

The information we collect from our customers helps us better personalize your shopping experience at Gecko Software, Inc. Here is the information we collect.

Information You Give Us: When you sign into the site, or make a purchase Gecko Software, Inc. collects your name, company name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number.  Some information is required, while other information is voluntary.  We use this information to better serve you and help personalize your browsing and shopping experience with Gecko Software, Inc.

Automatic Information: Gecko Software, Inc. and its affiliate sites use “cookies,” which can be used to provide you with tailored information from our websites. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you a chance to decide whether to accept it.

Email Communication: When Gecko Software, Inc. or its affiliate sites send out emails we are notified if it was opened and if of the links inside the email were clicked on. Emails that you can expect to receive are newsletters, company updates, educational videos, educational content, webinar or seminar notifications, new product releases, and promotions. In order to opt-out from receiving anymore emails click on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email. Emails subscriptions may also be managed within the Account Manager by clicking on the “Manage Subscriptions” link at the bottom of the email.

General Information: Cookie information is used by us in order to personalize your experience with Gecko Software, Inc. It is used to aggregate for traffic analysis and to provide relevant information to our visitors. It is also used for website and system administration, including research and development, user analysis, and business decision-making.

All Visitors: We place cookies with all visitors to collect aggregate information on the number of visitors to our site and the number of pages viewed.
Registered Visitors: We place unique identifier cookies on the hard drives of those who sign on which are used to maintain the visitor “sign on” status for the duration of the visit, for one-time customizing/tailoring of your visit and for long-term storage of user preferences. If you do not sign onto our website, our web server does not have access to personally identifiable information about you. It does not know your email address unless you volunteer it. At the same time, much of our communication comes in the form of email, so by not sharing your email address you will have limited access to our newsletters and other valuable information.

Gecko Software, Inc. and its affiliate sites take great care in ensuring your information is safe and secure. Gecko Software, Inc. does not sell your information to other companies, but does from time to time share it with other reputable companies that we do business with.
